Alessandro Fabrizi

ALESSANDRO FABRIZI was born and raised in Rome. A theatre director ( Italy: "The Revenger's Tragedy"; "A Study for Virginia Woolf's The Waves"; Torquato Tasso's "Aminta"; "3 short stories from Boccaccio's Decameron"; "My name is Rachel Corrie"; New York: L. R. Lane's adaptation of Melville's "Bartleby the scrivener"; “Ted Hughes’ Tales from Ovid”) and an actor ( Anthony Minghella’s “The Talented Mr. Ripley”; Tom Tykwer's "The International"). He translated into Italian the books: "Patterns of Intention" by Michael Baxandall, "A Giacometti Portrait" by James Lord and Kristin Linklater’s"Freeing the Natural Voice [2006]". He produced and directer the documentary “Giving Voice – Kristin Linklater, 15 actors and 7 Tales from Ovid” (2008). He teaches Linklater at the Accademia Nazionale d’Arte Drammatica in Rome.
